A very tricky access residential retaining project that has involved clearing and revegetating a hillside of unstable trees replanting and covering with erosion matting (all rope access work).
Drilled and augured timber poles with sunken concrete beam ground anchor tie backs, shotcrete banks for temporary retaining works and concrete block walls around the section. All the works have been carried out with small tricky access machinery and the involvement of stakeholders from Kelburn school and ministry of education to use their property to minimise on public disturbance and ensure child safety around a worksite.
