Emergency Call Out

After the 2022 Wet weather event in Wellington that led to over 700 slips and failed retaining systems, JSW established an emergency call-out policy.

In the event of a slip or an emergency on a residential or council land, JSW can be called to the site at any time to remediate or secure an area of failed earth.

This after-hours/emergency call-out will incur an increased fee.

Overview

Having started out in the Wairarapa farm and forestry circles JSW has had many a wet and mucky days cleaning up storm and slip damage.

With the storms of 2022 in Wellington where a huge number of retaining walls and slips occurred, it has been a routine part of winter responding too, assessing, gathering photos and clear paperwork for insurance and EQC before the work begins. Then carrying out a cleanup or temporary works to make the area safe and tidy for the future.
